Yesterday morning I went to the Farmers Market in Des Monies with my mom. It was my first time and I really liked it. My sister, Krystal, makes breakfast burritos there.
Oh my, there was so much food! Lots of people were selling produce there. That's basically why my mom goes there. :) So I saw like two mini donut stands, three salsa stands, and some fruit stands.
When I was there I got a breakfast burrito from my sister and later a cup of sliced watermelon. The market starts at 7:00 a.m. and ends around 12:30 or 1:00 p.m.
You should go there sometime it's a cool experience.

Worship Arts Camp
Yesterday our church started a camp called Worship Arts Camp. It has grade levels up to 1st graders- finished 5th graders. Its super fun I love doing it! It is located at Cornerstone Church in Ames.Say if your child wanted to do it, you could sign up at the church or online. Your child would pick her first, second, and third choice for her first worship activity according to their age, and then their second worship activity also picking her first, second, and third choice. My first worship choice was Singing and my second choice was Mixed Media. If you were 3rd grade to 5th grade your first worship choices would be mainly singing, dancing, rhythm, or other stuff like that. Then our second worship choice would be stuff like painting, outdoor art, mixed media, stuff like that. Then if you were 1st and 2nd graders it would be the exact opposite. Also every year the is a performance with the 3rd graders - 5th graders and the helpers, if your child chose to be in it. If you chose to be in the performance you would come two extra days to learn the dance and then in church on Sunday everyone preforms for the people who come to church.
This camp is three days from 9:00 to 11:30. When you go to the first day we met in the old auditorium of our church. We sang songs, worshiping our god. Next you go with the people who signed up for the same worship activity as you to the place that you will do your activity and do it. Your first activity is about 50 minutes long. After your first activity everyone meets together to have a snack at 10:30. After the snack you go to your next worship activity. And do that until 11:30. Then your parents pick you up.
Worship Arts Camp is a great opportunity for your children to use their great skills and voices to praise God.
